Why do you display search results in 1, 2 and 3 columns?

It is an easier way to bind and display the results in a grid pagination in order to ensure that the query and display of the search results perform well and efficiently and can be easily read. Using CelebrityZap’s search engine will provide a very efficient method for retrieving the information if it resides across multiple site collections.

Why do you have snapshot pictures beside each result? How do you snap these pictures?

We've learnt from our non ending research that people can make a quicker and real-time decision about their results when one can see snapshot images. At CelebrityZap, we try our very best to snapshot a picture of the site that will accurately represent the search.

Every extra page CelebrityZap indexes are useful. Why can't other search engines index them the same way as CelebrityZap?

Because it requires a lot of work on a continuous basis. CelebrityZap’s job is to index and update the web continuously. Indexing and updating the web pages and it's information and re-processing the entire web-link graph (190 million pages)several times every 12 hours is similar to a map made up of 190 billion intersections. CelebritZap does this continuously every day. We index all these pages and examine their content for relevancy to your search. If they contain information you need, then they should be available to you. We also remove duplicate pages that are found in any other search engine, hence the reason why the next celebrityZap search is relevant to your enquiry.

Do you or have you got any Safe Search Feature that will protect children?

CelebrityZap's Safe Search feature’ means that children can explore more pages and information on the web and do so safely. By default settings, CelebrityZap will automatically mean your children are safe. Meta search software allows you to block certain keywords from searching. We'd recommend every parent to supervise their children every time they use any Internet connected computers, whatever web site they’re visiting.

What kind or sort of information would you keep about me?

None. Nothing. Zero. CelebrityZap analyzes Web pages and it's results, so we don’t need to know your search history, what you’re up to or your habits. Our privacy policy is very simple: Whilst you’re browsing CelebrityZap, we don't gather anonymous information in our computer system log files. We do not gather any personally identifiable information nor your data, period. We don't have any idea who sends queries: no names and no IP address. Our Privacy Policy is straight forward and simple: "No Legal hanky-panky".

I would like to submit my site to CelebrityZap. How long will it take to show up in search results?

If you've submitted your site to us, it could take about 4 to 24 hours before it starts showing up in our search results. We keep all the URLs lists to be crawled and they are scheduled on a first come first served basis for our crawling system on each domain. We serve over 1 million additional pages per day, including refreshing what we have already included in our indexing. So, if your website is missed on the first day, it will not be missed on the next day. If you have a particular concern, please contact us. We can assure you that we read every single e-mail we receive and respond to each one of them.
